A new Research Information System, Pure, is being implemented as the single source of information about University research. Pure incorporates a publications management system and functionality that enables the deposit and dissemination of full text outputs. The system will replace the current University publication management systems IRIS and ROSE.
As part of the implementation project all information currently held ROSE will be transferred to Pure and it is anticipated that Pure will be available for staff to begin using in August 2012. To allow the project team sufficient time to carry out a final transfer of information from ROSE into Pure, from the 11th June ROSE will no longer accept the submission of new items and registered users will no longer be able to login to the service. A read-only view of the information contained within ROSE will continue to be available for the foreseeable future.
